Why committee learning matters
Redevelopment is probably the largest decision your society will ever take, yet most committees are volunteers doing this for the first time. Developers, architects and consultants arrive with years of experience; your committee gets a few months to catch up. That gap is where mistakes happen — a rushed resolution, a missed record, a clause nobody questioned. The academy exists to close that gap. Short lessons, in plain language, so your committee understands each step before it happens rather than after. A committee that knows its duties asks better questions, keeps members informed and negotiates from a position of confidence — and that changes the outcome for the whole building.

Who is the academy for?
The academy is for committee members and active society members — the people who actually have to run meetings, keep records and answer questions from neighbours. You do not need any legal or technical background. Each lesson is short and written in plain language, so a first-time office bearer can follow it just as easily as someone who has served on the committee for years.
Will lessons be available in Marathi?
Yes. Lessons are planned in both English and Marathi, so every member of your society can follow along in the language they are most comfortable with. Redevelopment decisions affect the whole building, not just the members who read English easily — so the Marathi lessons will carry the same content, not a shortened version.
